Ideas for Promoting the Online Reporting of Bullying to Your Community (Online)
Many schools have Facebook pages, twitter accounts and other social media initiatives. Take advantage of these mediums by distributing the link to your reporting form on them. It’s important to remember that posting at regular intervals reminds your community that BRIM is available. For instance, a monthly posting about BRIM on your social media channels would be sure to reach your audience at one time or another.
Issue a press release to your community informing community members that your school is now letting anyone speak out against bullying by reporting it anonymously online.
If your school has a bullying prevention day, share your efforts to prevent and reduce bullying with local media.
